Please join us in welcoming Laurin to the position of Project Coordinator, effective January 25th. Laurin will be responsible for all things project related including driving the internal timelines of projects with the project team and manufacturing. In addition, she will ensure all customer and vendor communication meets the K2 standards, to ensure timely receipt of project-critical components.
She is tells people she's from York because her family has been here in the community for generations, however most people don't know she was born in San Diego, California. She graduated from Shippensburg University majoring in Business Management and Marketing. During her time in school she was very involved with the music department, participating in marching band, concert band and woodwind ensemble. She also joined an honorary music fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi.
Previously she worked for a Rudy Art Glass, a decorative glass manufacturing company producing custom products for residential to commercial projects worldwide. She managed the details for every project from sales through fabrication. During this time she worked hard to build quality customer relationships. Her favorite job has always been helping her fifth generation Christmas tree growing family on their farm.
In her spare time, she enjoys exercising through a virtual gym, helping people feel more confident by having healthier hair and skin, rooting for Penn State Football, and volunteering in the community with organizations such as Distinguished Young Women. She also enjoys spending time creating memories with friends and family, and her 93 year old Grandma, who still keeps everyone on their toes!
