We are pleased to welcome Josh as our technical sales support specialist, effective August 24th, 2020. He will be working out of our main office located at 3495 Industrial Dr here in York. Most of Josh's professional experience is tied to his previous employer, Millet Plastics, an industrial blow molder where he spent 10 years, moving from Operator and Supervisor and eventually settling in as an industrial technician the last 5 years. In his final role he helped start a new food product packaging division and was a large part of that team. He was an important part in creating the quality, production and maintenance procedures and systems. In his final year, this product division was moved to Quebec, Canada, into a new sister factory where he was involved in commissioning and training for 6 weeks. He is very familiar with SQF and ISO systems and is a certified ISO internal auditor.
In his new role at K2, Josh will support the sales team from opportunities through proposals. This includes following up on new leads with potential customers, working with vendors and suppliers to determine accurate pricing, and creating budgetary proposals and formal quotations. His technical background will be a strong aid in assisting the K2 sales team to quickly and accurately assist all customers with their respective projects.
Josh is married (no children but two adoring dogs and a cats). His hobbies are largely outdoors - he enjoys hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and as of lately, he's been spending a good amount of time hunting wild gourmet mushrooms!? And we'll just end it there...
