At K2 Kinetics, the health and well-being of our employees, suppliers, and customers remains our top priority. As we continue to monitor the latest updates and information about the global COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking additional measures to ensure we safeguard both the health of our employees and preserve our ability to operate. Over the past several weeks, we have been taking actions to help prevent the spread of this virus, both at our facility and on the sites of our customers. We have a pandemic preparedness plan that has been implemented, and we are being proactive in our daily approaches to ensure business continuity.
With the recent announcement from Governor Tom Wolf, essential projects that support industries like food, beverage, and medical supplies will remain open to serve the people and organizations that are helping to battle the spread and impact of COVID-19. Within these areas, we have developed operational continuity plans in our teams to ensure we have enough resources to keep these essential projects running safely and efficiently. We have implemented a plan to remove all non-operations personnel from these projects to further protect the health of our employees and customers. A portion of our employees who are critical to maintaining these operations will continue to focus on these projects moving forward. Those who can perform their jobs from home and do not have to be in our facility, will begin working remotely effective today, March 20th, to minimize the virus transmission between employees.
