This position

Organizes incoming contracts and issues necessary announcements to internal departments on scope, commitments, budgets, and schedules.

Establishes relationships and open channels of communications with clients.

Works with engineering staff to establish the design concepts during the proposal stage as well as order execution process.

Establishes controls on budgets, cash flows, and schedules and monitors it. Initiates action for deviations. Reports monthly, or more frequently if necessary, on complete contract status including cost projections.

Compiles and issues correspondence, including client letters, change orders, invoices, insurance documents, bonds, etc. Handles all significant customer correspondence.

Participates with the buyer in selection and award of major subcontracts and purchased equipment.

Interacts with the field service group to manage and coordinate fieldwork. Works to minimize field changes.

Works with expeditors and vendors to ensure parts are completed on time.

Communicates with logistics to guarantee shipments are handled properly and deliver to the customer.• Negotiates contract closeout with subcontractors and clients.

Encourages safety and sees that all company rules are followed.

Promotes a positive company image with clients and vendors. Aggressively promotes company products and services.

Shows commitment to quality ethics and focuses on meeting the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.

Manages time, skills and resources to produce a maximum volume of work and reduction of errors.

Effective resolution of subcontractor, interdepartmental, and client-related problems and issues.

Performs other miscellaneous duties as requested.Travel

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of project management/related experience

Experience in procurement, fabrication, quality control, contracts, commercial terms, and scheduling and cost control.

Excellent organization skills combined with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
